Privacy Policy

Sophie Parienti (“I”, “we”) is a sole proprietor based in the United States (PO Box 5153, Santa Monica, CA 90409), offering coaching services and digital products. Contact: sophie@sophieparienti.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect on sophieparienti.com and courses.sophieparienti.com, why, and your choices.
What we collect
Information you give us: your name and email address when you request a free guide, book a call or session, join a program, send a message, or buy a product or service; billing details and payment information when you buy (payment details are handled by our payment processor, we do not see or store your full card number); anything you write to us, including in forms and messages.
Information collected automatically: pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you arrived on our site, using cookies and similar technologies.
Advertising measurement: if we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, we may use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s server-side Conversions API to record actions such as viewing a page, starting checkout, or completing a purchase (including the order value and currency). We do not send the content of your messages, anything you tell us in coaching, any details about your relationships, or your payment card information to Meta.
How we use it
To deliver the guides, sessions and coaching services you ordered, answer your messages, schedule appointments, send emails you asked for, run and measure our advertising, keep our sites secure, and meet legal and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the business: our funnel and email platform (Systeme.io), our payment processor, our calendar booking and video call tools, our website host (Squarespace), and advertising platforms (Meta). They may use the information only to provide their services. We do not sell your personal information for money. Under California law, sharing information with an advertising platform for ad measurement can count as “sharing” for cross-context advertising, and you can opt out as described below.
Coaching confidentiality
What you share with Sophie in a coaching session or private message is kept confidential and is not shared with advertising platforms. We may disclose information only where the law requires it or where there is a serious risk of harm.
Your choices and California rights
If you live in California, you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to stop sharing it for advertising. You will not be treated differently for using these rights. To use them, or to opt out of advertising measurement, email sophie@sophieparienti.com with the subject “Privacy request”. You can also control ads in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom of it. We respond within 45 days.
Do Not Track
Our sites do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
Cookies
We use cookies for the site to work and, where you allow it, for analytics and advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Children
Our products and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Keeping your information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above and as the law requires (for example tax records), then delete or anonymise it.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do.
